Girlfriends was founded in January 2008 and is an interactive rites of passage support group for teen girls ages 13-18. The purpose is to provide a positive social setting in which young ladies can identify, discuss and resolve issues they are facing today. Outcomes are produced by group conversations focusing on topics of concern such as: Self-awareness, Relationships, Health, Leadership and Education.
